About North London United
Safe, Structured, and Seriously Fun Football Sessions
Since 2015, North London United have partnered with Arsenal in the Community to deliver weekly football sessions at The Arsenal Hub.
North London United (NLU) offers opportunities for children and young people with Down syndrome to take part in football activities that develop skills and technique, reduce isolation, foster new friendships, and promote a more active and healthy lifestyle.
Each week during term time, our team of coaches deliver structured football sessions on Mondays, tailored to the individual abilities within the group.
Sessions begin with a group warm-up focusing on key areas of development commonly associated with Down syndrome, including low muscle tone, agility, balance, and coordination.
Alongside physical development, we focus on building confidence, teamwork, communication, enjoyment, and a strong sense of belonging.
